OK, so here’s the low-down.  Dugi’s Dailies and Events Guide consists of 2 parts.  The first is a free online guide consisting of a bunch of helpful tips and videos.  This section in and of itself is a ton of value, and really helps with figuring out the best way to do certain quests.  Honestly, even if you have no intention of buying the guide, definitely sign up and get the free offer.

If you decide to opt for the paid option, you get to the real meat of the guide.  Dugi went with a similar approach to Zygor’s Leveling Guide and made his Daily Quests Guide available as an in-game addon.  Here’s a quick rundown of the features:

• Guides you to each daily quest objective with a big glowing arrow
• Prioritizes quests according to your reputation needs
• Includes jewelcrafting, cooking, and fishing dailies
• Includes all 11 seasonal event guides
• Contains the optimal paths for all current Cataclysm daily quests
• Free lifetime updates

Dugi has a video posted on his main page showing proof that he was able to do 25 daily quests in one hour using his own addon.  I wasn’t quite able to get it down that far, but I did manage to crank them out in an average about 2 hours.  It took slightly longer on my healadin, and slightly less on my death knight and rogue.  Overall, I feel like I got my money’s worth.  As someone who was struggling to get all my Cataclysm dailies done, this guide has helped tremendously.

I strongly recommend Dugi’s Dalies and Events Guide.  If you are wanting to get through your dailies faster, make the best use of your time in game, and kick your rep grinding into overdrive, you should definitely check out Dugi’s Dailies and Events Guide.  You’ll never look at dailies the same again.

Newly updated for Cataclysm! The holy warriors of WoW, Paladins are one of the most versatile classes in the game.  Able to heal, tank, or DPS depending on spec, and generally considered to be one of the easier classes to pick up (though difficult to master), Paladins make an excellent class for players who are new to the game or who don’t want to be locked out of certain group roles based on the class they picked.   Holy Paladins are masters of healing, with excellent single-target heals and modest group heals.  Protection Paladins are rock solid tanks with the best AOE threat in the game, and focus on gathering aggro through damage reflection and AOE strikes.  If you’re more interested in playing the crusader type, Retribution Paladins are the undisputed kings of smashing faces in with a Light-blessed hammer, and are more than capable of holding their own on the DPS meters.  Alliance Paladins allow Humans, Dwarves, and Draenei into their ranks, while Horde Paladins are a little more selective and currently only allow Blood Elves and Tauren to take up their cause.

Paladin Leveling Stats

During the leveling process, Paladins will want to focus on a relatively narrow stat selection.  For both Retribution and Protection, you’ll mostly be looking for Strength.  Retribution’s best secondary stat is Haste, followed by Crit, with Stamina and Intellect rounding out the pack.  Protection’s secondary stat is Stamina, and should be sought out at equal levels to Strength.  Holy will want a fairly even mix of Intellect and Haste, with Spirit following closely behind.

Paladin Leveling Build

Though Protection and Holy are both excellent specs in their own right, when it comes to leveling, Retribution is the king.  When you’re trying to level quickly, there are only 2 things that matter – kill speed and longevity.  Retribution Paladins have both of those in spades.  Retribution kills faster than both Holy and Protection, and can do it for longer too.  My recommended Cataclysm paladin leveling build looks like this – click here.  If you plan on doing much PVP or grouping on your way up, you’ll want to shift some points around, as the posted build is primarily aimed at solo leveling.

Other Paladin Leveling Specs

Let me just go on the record as saying that Retribution is, far and away, the best leveling spec for Paladins, and if you choose to level solo as Holy or Protection you are willfully gimping yourself.  With that in mind, the leveling builds that I am posting for Protection and Holy are both group oriented, and assume that you plan on tanking or healing through instances to level.  If you’re the tanky type and you’d like to meat-shield your way to the level cap, you’ll probably want to go Protection, and as such my recommended 4.0.1 paladin leveling spec for you would be this – click here.  On the other hand, you might have a more nurturing nature, in which case Holy will probably be more up your alley.  If you want to patch people up on your way to 80, here’s the recommended Cataclysm paladin talent build for Holy – click here.

Paladin Leveling Glyphs

This is another question that comes up quite often.  What are the best glyphs for leveling a Paladin?  As always, we’ve got you covered.  Here are the best paladin leveling glyphs for Cataclysm:

Retribution – Prime:

Crusader Strike – Increases the critical strike chance of Crusader Strike by 5%

Seal of Truth – Your Seal of Truth also grants 10 expertise when active.

Templar’s Verdict – Increases the damage of Templar’s Verdict by 15%

Retribution – Major:

Ascetic Crusader – Reduces the mana cost of your Crusader Strike by 30%

Hammer of Wrath – Reduces the mana cost of Hammer of Wrath by 100%

Rebuke – Reduces the mana cost of Rebuke by 100%

Also just wanted to share a cool change Blizz made that some of you might not be aware of.  Dual spec has had the cost reduced from 1000g to 100g.  As of yet I haven’t found any other significantly reduced costs, but as always I’ll keep you guys updated with anything interesting that comes up.

Q:  What is the Cataclysm official release date?

A:  Cataclysm will be released at 12:00 AM on December 7, 2010.

Q:  How much will the Cataclysm expansion cost?

A:  The suggested retail price for Cataclysm is $39.99 for the normal version, and $79.99 for the Collector’s Edition.

Q:  Will there be a digital download available?

A:  Yes, through the Blizzard Store.  It is not currently known if server loads and download speeds will allow you to get the game as quickly as if you pre-order, however.

Just ran into this posted on the official site.  It looks like that graphic engine overhaul is making some progress.  This is one of the most beautiful WoW screenshots I’ve ever seen, and I never, ever would have thought I’d be saying that about the Blasted Lands. This place used to be tied with Desolace for my least favorite zone in the game purely based on it’s extreme lack of aesthetic appeal, but if this is the trend, I might be spending a fair bit of time there.

WoW Auction Mastery Review

Since WoW Auction Mastery was released in August of 2009, I’ve had a good amount of time to work with the guide and become a master of the WoW auction house.  Before I get started, I’d like to mention that if you’re just getting started with the auction house and need to learn the basics, you want to click here and put your email address into the form on the page so you can get the free videos and ebook.  They will go a long way towards helping you get started on the auction house.

Now, with that out of the way, let’s get on with the review.  WoW Auction Mastery consists of several videos that address gold making on the auction house with a sort of scaling difficulty curve.  You will definitely want to go through them in order, as most of the higher level stuff requires information that’s taught in the earlier videos.

The videos start with the Foundation series, which teaches you how to properly configure Auctioneer (get this wrong and you won’t make a copper!) as well as how to assess which items are the hottest sellers on your server, using stack size to your advantage, and how to decide whether to undercut or overprice your auctions.  The Foundation series quite literally gives you a rock solid foundation on which to build your auction house techniques, and it does it well enough that you should be making a LOT of gold once you start implementing everything you’ve learned… But we’re not done yet.

The second module is the Advanced section.  This teaches you how to use the more intricate features of Auctioneer, like the Converter, Vendor, and Snatch tools as well as the Realtime Search function.  This will let you pick up on other people’s mistakes and turn them into pure profit.  Video number 2 in the Advanced section is dedicated to finding your gold making mistakes.  It sounds a little bit hokey at first, but this video might be the most valuable part of the whole Advanced module!  It shows you how to analyze your auctioneering to pick out mistakes that are costing you money, and how to make sure you’re spending your auction time doing things that are actually going to make you gold.  The last part of the Advanced module is killer.  It shows you how to use manual searches to clean up on the deals that Auctioneer misses, as well as how to set up a secondary auction house search tool that will net you more gold than you can spend.

Now, try not to get overwhelmed here.  We’ve still got one more module to go.  Mayle calls the last module “The Golden Videos” and once you’ve been through them, you’ll understand why.  Let’s get one thing straight right now.  The Foundation and Advanced modules are more than enough to keep you rolling in gold for as long as you play the game.  The Golden Videos take it over the top.  If one of your goals in WoW is to hit the gold cap, these videos are for you.  In them, Mayle covers how to turn disenchanting, tailoring, and inscription into constant gold generation, as well as the Warehousing technique that she used to push 3 bank alts past 100,000 gold EACH.  The stuff she shows in these videos is so powerful that if I were her, I wouldn’t have released them to the public, but luckily for us she decided to share!

So, here’s what it all comes down to.  WoW Auction Mastery is, in my opinion, the absolute BEST gold making guide in terms of time spent and gold earned.  Spending no more than 20 minutes per day, I’ve been able to keep my many alts in AH-bought gear, weapons enchanted, and riding skills as soon as they can use them, including cold-weather flying at 68 in Northrend.  It is my #1 preferred gold guide, and I quite literally have them all.  I would happily recommend it to any and all of my readers who have ever had any issue making gold, or have felt that they have to spend too much time grinding to get the gold they need.
